About the role: 


The Head of School Partnerships will have a strong background in selling EdTech products to schools. In this role, you will lead DE’s sales strategy for its diverse product range, including our award-winning AI tools, a Geography curriculum, and our established and trusted science and careers solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building successful partnerships with schools and MATs, driving sales growth, while effectively managing relationships with stakeholders across the education sector. Some travel is required to attend relevant promotional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Leadership: Develop, manage and execute DE’s sales strategy for its diverse product range.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and increase revenue through effective sales initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the education sector, including school and MAT leaders, and educators.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about education trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales strategies and marketing activities. 

Competencies, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Sales Expertise: Strong track record in selling EdTech products to schools, with measurable success in driving revenue growth and scaling educational solutions.
  • Partnership Management: Experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the education sector, including with school leaders and decision-makers.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the education landscape, including current trends, challenges, and competitor activities.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong IT skills and experience using a CRM system are desirable. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently and within a team, in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing change and driving new initiatives.
  • General: Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work, whilst adapting to the changing needs of the business. Attention to detail, accuracy, and grammar.

Other: 

  • Take an active responsibility for personal professional growth and development within the role. This will include the identification of training and other developmental opportunities at regular review meetings and through ongoing dialogue with your line manager. 
  • Adhere to Developing Expert's procedures and policies and ensure that all activities for which you are responsible are completed to a high standard. 
  • Attend team meetings as requested by your line manager.
