Science Week - Live Lesson on the 10th March

The wonderful world of amphibians!

On the 10th of March, we're kicking off science week by streaming our first live science lesson. The team have been busy preparing for the event and look forward to hearing Mike Linley explore the wonderful world of amphibians. At Developing Experts we have a clear purpose aligned with the needs and interests of the schools we have the privilege of working with. We create engaging and interactive content to inspire our teachers and pupils and are always searching for the most valuable content and tools to offer schools. Since launching the event 3 weeks ago, we've had over 200,000 children register, so we are excited to see how many end up joining us on the day!

The live sessions will last between 30-40 minutes and then we will provide you with activity suggestions to do with your pupils after the session. Lesson plans, handouts and resources for the follow-up work will be available via the Developing Experts platform. During the session, there will be little activities for the pupils to do on their handouts, as well as opportunities for some class discussion. We suggest classes join us separately, and not as a whole school. To mitigate any tech issues, we suggest making sure all teachers use their own logins to the platform.

We hope that our first live lesson will be a success and an event we are able to offer regularly in the future. Our schools' interest in our live lesson is continuing to allow our online tech community to thrive. We currently have 6800 schools signed up to use Developing Experts and this number continues to grow by over 100 schools each month!

We are grateful to our supporters!
