Last week Mike Linley had the pleasure of filming with Dr. Anna Hansell from Imperial College who is an environmental epidemiology expert.
Anna is the Assistant Director of SAHSU and leads on and supports the infrastructure for >20 SAHSU studies examining long-term health effects of environmental exposures, developing new methods in using routine (administrative) data. Anna is an honorary consultant at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She also teaches and chairs the Imperial Masters in Public Health exam board. Her special research interests are in environmental noise and air pollution, respiratory disease epidemiology and use of small area data.
Anna now appears in many of our lessons which relate to breathing and noise.
