Our live lesson for Science Week 2025 is next week. Here's our top tips to help you prepare.
With just one week to go until our live lesson to celebrate British Science Week, it’s time to prepare and get ready. We’re really excited for classes from EYFS to KS3 to watch our lessons and complete the activities we’ve prepared, and we hope you’re looking forward to it too!
Here are 4 things you can do to get ready before our live lesson streams on Friday the 7th of March.
The plans for our live lessons are available to view and download on the Developing Experts website. In each lesson plan, you can find information about the lesson times, activities, keywords and more. You can find the lesson plans by navigating to ‘Topical Lessons’ here.
Our live lessons are designed to be completed in the classroom setting so that your pupils can complete the activities while the lesson is live. To make sure the lessons go as smoothly as possible, you will need to print off the handouts before the lesson. We have also provided answers so that you can review your pupils’ completed work. You can download the handouts by heading to each lesson’s homepage.
Our first session for reception and KS1 will take place at 9:30am. Our second session is aimed at KS2 pupils and will take place at 11am. Our KS3 session won’t be streamed live, but will be available to stream from March 7th. Each lesson will last for around 45 minutes.
The best place to access the live lesson is from the Developing Experts website; however, our videos are streamed via YouTube. Please make sure that you have access to YouTube, even if it is just temporarily for the lesson - otherwise, your school’s firewall may block the lesson stream. To enable you to test that everything is running smoothly, we’ll be running a live test stream on the 5th of March at 9:15. You can use this link then to test that you’re able to access YouTube and view our streamed content.
You can find everything you need for the live lesson by heading to the unit homepage on www.developingexperts.com. We can’t wait to see you there!
